At Bedford Gallery, Castle Lane, Bedford from 6th June-6th September 2009.Abram Games (1914-1996) created many of the most iconic images of mid-20th century Britain, from Official War Posters to the logo for the 1951 Fesival of Britain and advertising designs for clients such as London Transport.
The exhibition brings together his poster work, designs, inventions, documentary footage, and work of artists such as Henry Moore and Jacob Epstein that also contributed to the Festival of Britain.
A series of Lectures will accompany the exhibition in the Lower Gallery, all on Wednesday lunchtimes from 1-1.30:

26th August:The BBC and Glenn Miller in Wartime Bedford, speaker Davis Fowler, Town Centre Guide.
Bedford Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday 11-5, Sunday, 2-5.
