As well as the painting I write and perform music with my band Helzuki. Originally formed by Leah Kardos (Piano, Vocals, String Arrangements) and Matt Roles (Bass), I joined in September 2007 to add a male voice and my atmospheric guitar parts to their sound and have shared song writing and arranging duties with Leah since we started writing our forthicoming six-track EP in April 2008.

Bedford Gallery opened on 1st April 2009, and I, along with the rest of the team, have been very busy getting the space ready to open for the last few months and preparing the current exhibition, Treasures. Following on from the display of watercolours and drawings that was recently in the British Galleries at Tate Britain, Treasures brings together the best of those watercolours and drawings, as well as prints and decorative arts from the Cecil Higgins with the most beautiful and fascinating objects from Bedford Museum. There is a programme of talks and events to accompany the exhibition, and I will be doing a painting demo, recreating 'Bunkers and Sleepers' by Henry Moore following a talk on war art that commences at 1pm Wednesday 6th March.
